The new blog is almost ready to launch, but I wanted to pop in and share a little sneaky peek of one of the new images being released during A*MUSE*A*PALOOZA!

Is this little witch's kettle cute or what? I added a bit of shiny goodness to the bubbling concoction with a fine tip glue pen and green glitter from Making Memories (but Stickles would work just as well). Love, love, love, this kettle!

It's no secret how much I *love* Halloween and I think you're gonna' be excited when you see all the new goodies a*muse has in store for the not only Halloween, but fall and winter holidays all around! moving blog house ...

Now, I know I'm not the best blogger in the world ... but my absence these days aren't because I'm a bad blogger with a busy life. *laugh* As I mentioned before, the ol' blog here is being bombarded by spam! Icky, nasty spam. And it's a pain trying to stay on top of it and keep it deleted. So ... I'm movin' blog house! Dave's been helping me get all the old posts, photos, and comments uploaded to Typepad and he's hoping to have it done in the next few days! Once it's up and good to go I'll link to it AND hope you'll follow me on over there! In celebration I have lots of new goodies to share!

tinkerbella ....

I resisted for a while, but finally gave in to the Bella craze. *laugh* And this is my first time inking one up! It was all for a good cause though: my friend Emily's daughter's Tinkerbell themed birthday party earlier this month!

They really are cute little images! And with a tad of watercoloring and a bit of glitter ... perfect! I can still make clean, simple-looking designs even with a Bella!

fun with birdies ...

This little birdie (and three of his friends) flew into my post box last week! I've had soooo much fun playing with him! I couldn't figure out exactly how I wanted to color him in so I opted for no coloring at all ... patterned paper was the answer! I stamped him on scrap, cut out the matching bits, glued them over top of the stamped image on the card, and voila! Bright, pretty birdy!

The bird is from Hero Arts, the swirl is from from Autumn Leaves (Rhonna Farrer - Swirls), the sentiment and Creative Candy are from a*muse!

Also wanted to let you know that part of my recent bloggin' stinkage is because the ol' blog is being bombarded by spam. Icky, nasty, spam. It's been a battle. I'm finding out that it's one of the downsides of not using a blog service (this blog is attached to my family website and something my husband and I wrote up for fun). So ... I'm kicking around the idea of moving blog-house to avoid the spam. I'll keep you posted!

I will be getting to the A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA challenges eventually! They're just the ticket to get the creative juices flowing ... now if I could just find the time! *smile*

So since I'm TRYING to get back into good blogging habits I'm gonna' leave you with this ... the first paper scrap page I've done in eons!

This photo was taken on the Eiffel Tower on the last night my friend Emily could legitimately claim to be in her twenties! We'd been goofing around with the camera all day, trying to figure out how the heck Elsie Flannigan gets all those cute shots making all those funny faces. She can sooo pull it off, but us ... we didn't have much luck! *laugh* But we finally got this one that we liked! It's one of my favorite photos now!

It's been a while, hasn't it? This has been a busy, busy spring and I just haven't stayed on top of the ol' blog. I know none of you are surprised (if you're still checking in). *wink* There's just too much fun stuff on the horizon not to get back to bloggin' and more stampin'!

I know you guys have to have heard about it already, but A*MUSE*A*PALOOZA 2007 is right around the corner and there's already tons of good stuff happening on the official website! I'll be participatig in the challenges for fun myself ... so look for ohotos of that in the coming days! And be sure to check out the link on the left if you haven't already been to the site!

lotsa' good stuff & a new a*muse contest!

Happy Easter!

Hope you all had as bright and sunny a day as we enjoyed here!

And look! A card! Whoo hoo!

Dave's birthday was the 6th and this was my "modern" card for him. He's very architectural in design-likes and I thought this was simple, but perfect (and it matched the wrapping paper I used)! I punched squares with athe SU three-quarter inch punch. The sentiment is by a*muse

We went out to dinner with friends to celebrate D's birthday and came home for cake and presents. A nice, low key night. Sad that that's exciting for us these days. Guess we really ARE getting old. *wink*

It made me sad buying two boxes of candles ... and using almost ALL of both boxes. *grin*

By the way ... you gotta' go check out Linda's blog to find out about the new a*muse Mother's Day contest!!! It runs through May 1st and there are some really super prizes! So get crackin' on cards for the mom's in your life! *smile* And just to spice things up a bit ... if one of the contest winners is one of you local gals reading here in Germany ... I'll throw in a few eextra a*muse goodies too! So get crackin'! (Great idea, Jenn!)

Yes, yes, flog me now ...

What can I say? I'm a bad blogger. I really don't TRY to be. I just am. WIll I try to be better? I say, resoundingly, yes! Will I be? Maybe. *grin*

But since many of you have *cough, cough* prompted me to get my rear in gear and back to posting ... voila! A post!

I will share some cute things I've been working on and there's always new a*muse goodies to share. Soon, grasshoppers, soon!
